Well... let me see... I can easily register, oh say... 999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999 addresses myself. (I mean that quite literally, and I'm being CONSERVATIVE.) What do you think spammers will do? Hmmm... Can we say... SPAM THE DO-NOT-SPAM REGISTRY! Lesson for the day: the war on drugs is nowhere near the war on spam... More crack pipes per capita in Washinton DC than anywhere else on the planet.
