Hi, I just created a forum using wwf7.6. But on its front page, there is an extra space I want to remove between top menu and a list of wwf buttons. Could anyone help me locate the right code to have it done? Many thanks!

umm ya forum doesnt work

and i tried takin the ".asp" out (which was wrong)

copy and paste from the address bar on your browser

but from what you said, you might wanna check the "navigation_buttons_inc.asp" in the "include" folder and also the "header.asp" also in the "include" folder

if you post a working link, i'll help me understand the problem more

Hi, Scotty,

I forgot the .org on the link. You could tell how frustrated I was:-) I have spent so many hours trying to fix this problem already. Your help will definitely appreciated.

arrr ok

your using frames (now i see why its forum.asp )

it didnt work for me last time

ok this COULD be becose in the "navigation_buttons_inc.asp" (i think its called that) the table's height is set to big for what you want, you could see if its that, and lower the size maybe to... 80 id say

I checked all the files and still no luck. Could you specify the codes a little bit more. Many thanks.

umm sorry i cant find out wot it is

am unable to 'view source' on ya site

it must be to do with the navigation_buttons_inc.asp or header.asp

sorry, i cant personally see how its doin this, try right clicking inside the forum (not the top frame part) and viewing the source

could look for anyfin that stands out, look around the top, for any height="100" or any other large size

Just a suggestion, but you have cellpadding in main table on navigation_buttons_inc.asp as 4.  Perhaps if you reduce to 0 may be of some help. Not sure though.

BTW your forum looks pretty good.

Thank you, both Scotty and Joe. I kind of guve up on that after trying all possible changes including cellpadding. The problem wasts some space but is still tolerable. Thank you again for all the ideas. May all you have a great holiday season.

You have at least 5 <title><head></head></title> groups on the page. Some have <p> tags. All that clutter is creating the extra space.

Hi, Jamal,

You got it right! In Language_File_inc.asp, I deleted '<p>&nbsp;</p>' and the extra space was gone! You guys are so great. Just came back from 7 hours holiday shopping. You concluded my day with a big smile:-)

Thanks again for all of you who answered my question.
