error during uploading avatar from profile 

Server.MapPath() error 'ASP 0175'

Disallowed Path Characters

/abyfanclub/functions/functions_upload.asp, line 77

The '..' characters are not allowed in the Path parameter for the MapPath method.

how to overcome this error?

This means that the server you are on has been setup for extra security to not allow parent paths eg ../  This is standard on Win2003

To pstop this error the upload path you setup in the admin area for uploading files/images/avatars, etc. can not contain parent paths (no ../)

Your only solution is to have the upload folder below the level of the forum folder so that no parent paths are used when uploading your avatars.

I have same problem but I must to change path address..
What can I do? Do you have any idea for this problem?

try using the physical path

ie: d:\domains\domain.com\private\wwForum.mdb

that is an example

thanx for helping me but i have no database problem.. i have avatar, image and file upload problem. what do you think this about subject?
