Hi just wondering how you do the following:

If youre displaying say the last five most recent topics on your home page how can you shorten the title to a predetermined number of letters followed by .... example: topic called asp question changed to asp ques..... This is so that if a title is extremely long it will be shortened down for easy viewing.

Left(rs("yourfiled"),10) & " ..."

where 10 is the amount of characters you want to display
