In the olive skin they look like this:

If you are not seeing them, then perhaps you have the WYSIWYG Editor turned off in your profile.  Go into settings and edit your profile and see if you have it turned on.  Or perhaps you are not using Internet Explorer or Mozilla.  The WYSIWYG Editor only works in certain browsers.

Opps, Borg, found a bug!  I had the "Enable Forum Codes to format post" unchecked and it still translated the [ QUOTE } and [ CODE ] forum codes anyway.

No, you need to go to your profile and turn on the WYSIWYG Editor.  The buttons will appear then.

Rich Text Editor (WYSIWYG):
This is the type of editor you use to post messages if you are using a Rich Text Enabled web browser, currently Windows IE5+, Netscape 7.1+, Mozilla 1.3+, and Mozilla Firebird 0.6.1+, support this feature.
If you turn this function off everyone will use the Basic message editor.
If you want greater security turn this feature off, but you will lose functionality.
On < = value=True name=IEEditor>   Off < = value=False name=IEEditor>
????????????????????????????

it has to b turn on m i rigth??????

Yes, it must be turned on there.

Also, you must turn it on it your own personal profile if necessary.  Each user can decide if they want to use the RTE Editor or not.
