Is there a way to setup on the forum when a person sign up they must put in an e-mail address?  I have too many member with out a e-mail address?  I'm sure it's something easy.

1.  Activate Email validation

2.  Edit the register page and add in the Javascript for ensuring it is filled in

I found number one but what do you mean by number 2?

Javascript in the register.asp page is used to validate the form submission.  Edit that block of code so that it always checks for an Email address .. and that it is valid.

For new members, if you do step one, you don't have to do step 2.  If e-mail validation is turned on it forces them to enter an e-mail when registering.  This will insure that all new members enter a valid e-mail address.

Getting existing members to enter their e-mail address is more tricky.  If they never edit their profile, then it will never force them to enter an e-mail address.

Well, for new signups, just enable email activation.

For old, oops. i dont know

I check to make sure it's working and it is:)  Hopefully users will have to edit there profile and then they will be stuck entering an e-mail:)
