These are probably stupid questions, but I am new to this...

What are the implications of removing the cookies using the "delete cookies set by this forum" link? Is it just disabling the ability to automatically log you in next session?

If I were to use the "delete cookies set by this forum" link, is there an easy way of getting them back.

Many thanks for any help!

Cookies are used to identify you as a user. If you delete them you will have to re-enter your password and you will not be loged in if you return to the site.

Cookies will be created again after you made a successful login.

It has to recreate the cookies.  Otherwise you won't be logged in.  The forum uses the cookie to know who is logged in.

Are you saying that the quick login doesn't work after you delete the cookies?
