I have Win XP Pro, Notepad v5.1. ...and Ctrl+G works like a charm. |

I have Win XP Pro, Notepad v5.1 Cntrl-G is disabled in my edit menu BTW, Textpad is another good editor. Ultra Edit and Textpad both allow you to use color coded syntax for particular types of files - e.g. asp, php, html, etc.. Don't know about EditPlus. -------------

Start - Run - Regedit - Hkey_Current_User - Software - Microsoft - Notepad.
In the right pane double click StatusBar and set its value to 1 That will enable you to see line numbers in Notepad. (XP Pro anyway..)  ------------- "I'm only trying to help......" |

That lets you see line numbers but is there anyway of enabling Ctrl + G? |
