Any idea how to upgrade from 7.01 to 7.6 SQL Server 2000 version without it all going pear shaped

Replace the changed files.

Also follow the upgrade posts so that you change the stored procedures that require changing.

There is a sticky post on upgrading to get you started.

No idea with SQL but as far as its MS ACCESS, download the forum database /forum/admin/database/wwforum.mdb. then reuplod all files of new version and replace the db.

PS - I dont know abt db's in sql svr

Well he asked about sql server didn't he? Why do you bother writing about access if he asked about sql?
