Hey, somehow I know this is just going to be a stupid problem but well let me ask anyways. Basically everything was working fine for my forum hosted here http://24.108.194.102:8080/forum - http://24.108.194.102:8080/forum but now no one can access it. I can only if I use my under-router IP of 192.168.1.102. But it is not a port problem because it was working before and I havent fiddled with the ports. Or havent fiddled with anything infact. Plus I tried putting the whole computer on DMZ. All the other web stuff works (i run stats out of http://24.108.194.102:8080 - http://24.108.194.102:8080 ) and my other server apps. HELP! =) ty. |

192.168 IP is your local ip address ie Private IP's. IT wont work with the Internet. The 24. IP WILL WORK. but since you said port is ok and still not working, looks like a problem with NAT/PAT CONFIG in router. I believe the 24. is your routers IP. In your router, plz check the NAT/Port Configs, and forward the port 8080 to 192. IP ADDRESS hope this solve ur probs n helps. |
