Does anyone have, or know any problems with http://www.wazooweb.com - www.wazooweb.com hosting? None of my Scripts from here are working there. They all have errors. The hosting supports asp, and is on windows 2000 or NT servers. They are on IIS 7.05 or somthing, which may be the problem, but im not sure if that would make any difference or not. All of the scripts work fine on my localhost IIS server, but definately not there. A link to my site is http://www.ozone-racing.com - www.ozone-racing.com Lemme know if i should ditch the hosting. Thanks

Have you contacted your hosting company and asked them why this is?

According to their info on their website, they should run ASP pages.  If you are going to be using lot's of Web Wiz Guide applications and you are thiniking of ditching the hosting then why don't you use the Web Wiz Hosting, it cheaper and at least you know your scripts will work.

By the way nice website.

Most host don't have anyhting to do with your domain anyway. Just go to internet.net or respective based on locale and do a whois to find out who your registrar is, then you can change it with them. Or just go to a cheap registrar loke godaddy.com you would have to extend your domain but they transfer it for you.

Make sure you contact them and they support databse such as access and sQl. Some hosting companies don't to prevent forums which can have heavy traffic.

toast, have you set the security permissions correctly? Not only the database must have write permissions, but the whole directory must have write permissions. access wants to make a temp file (database.ldb), and that's not possible. I think this solve's your problem.

WazooWeb looks like that they are a reseller of communitech.net.

Sign up for one of the packages and change the nameserver of your domain after contacting the WWG admin.

How would i change permissions on the server? or does it keep them from my local machine, straight to the server? If it saves them, yes, they are set correctly. BTW, they fixed 2 of the 4 non-working things, so i am somewhat happy for the moment lol, but would like to be able to set permissions on my own (which I believe was the problem) Any idea if this is possible using an ftp program or somthng? thanks
