First off Hi.
Im HobbitCy.

Id like to start off saying how much your site has help me

though lets get right down to it , what does this noob want?

well i dont want anything really , im just asking if someone has the answers to some questions

1. how do i get the Emoticons to be linkable to the posts ?
2. in the quick log in box i have a white background with white text, how can i change it to black background with white text?

any help would be greatly appreciated
oh and dont get me wrong iv searched the forums and iv read most of the post, iv been reading around on this site for a couple of weeks now

What do you mean by linkable?

like if you click the emoticons then youll go to a
different link?

As far as the quick login youll need to edit
the nav_buttons.asp or the page it is shown on.

i dont have a nav_button.asp file anywere there wasnt one in the zip

linkable = click the pic and i get the pic in my message like you do here when you click the sad face you get the sad face in your message

Do you use other language files than the english one (Greek or so)? I had the same problems with my forum and swedish language files for wwf 7.6. Then I used other language files and the problem was gone... (There was some trouble with the RTE)

no im only using the english one

rte? which rte file ?

there are no other lang files to add that i know the language too

Sounds like you may have a corrupted file if the emoticons are not working, reupload the files again. Also if you use a free web host this can stop fetaures of the forum from running.

Colours can be changed in the skin_file.asp file found in the includes directory.

RTE= Rich Text editor, the editor where you write replies and new messages. But if you are using english, the problem is probably corrupted files as boRg says!
