In the latest version only on the registration page do you have this.

If you are getting this error all the time then either your web site is:-
  • Hosted on load balnaced multiple servers
  • The server has problems and keeps resetting the ASP session
  • You have another application that uses session.abandon thus corsing the server to reset the ASP session
To make this and other features run correctly in Web Wiz Forums session ID's and variables are used. The things mentioned above can course the session for all uses to be reset thus making fetaure not run.

You don't have the unique security code on the login page on the latest version, but it does check the session ID to stop remote form submission.

This is used thoughout the forum, so if you keep getting these errors then one of the three things mentioned above is the problem. This is something that needs to be addressed on your server.

Things like chat programs use session.abandon which maybe coursing this.

Check all the things I mention, it maybe better to create a sub domain for the forum and place the forum in it's own space so that other applications running on your site don't effect it.

Then you will have your work cut out as allot of pages will need to be modified.

All session ID checks will need to be removed, all session variables will need to be changed to another way of doing it, the date settings etc. will be effected.

Your simplest solution is what I posted in my last forum post.

That all depends what he is trying to do, just disable the security code or disable the use of anything that uses ASP sessions as it is the use of ASP session on his site that they are having problems with.

I think the session problem will either be cursed by another application on his site using session.abandon or there is problems with the server that should be addressed.

Nothing else at all on your site?

Are you using a free web host?
If you are on a free web host you don't have your own server resources so someone elses site may mess up your own site.

If you have your own paid for hosting account with nothing else running on there contact your hosting company as there is something wrong with sessions on the server.
