Dear all,

I installed the web wiz forums but when I tried as an administrator to modify the settings like 'edit profile', reg details or forum preferences I get this message:
Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a0400'
Expected statement
/web_wiz_forums_access2000_v7.6/forum/functions/functions_se nd_mail.asp, line 104
With objCDOSYSCon

What am I doing wrong.

This means that you are using an old server that has not been updated for a long time.

You must be running an NT4 server, have a look at the requirements for the software:-

To prevent this error you need the VBScripting Engine 5+ installed on the web server.

If you are running the server yourself you can install this by installing IE5+ on the web server, which will also install VBScripting Engine 5+.

Also make sure the server is running the latest database drivers.
