I'm starting work with ASP.NET now (using the C# technique). I have one slight problems... I can't download the .NET Framework from the official site. I know it's down at the moment but even if it was up it doesn't help much as of I am on a 56k modem connection (can't get broadband because NTL haven't laid the lines yet). So I was wondering if there is any other way of getting it with out spending too much money to get it (like over £50) to get it withing the UK - if there is a smaller download on KaZaA then that would be good but doubt there is.

Thanks!

It should be available on the bundled CD's that come with a PC magazine too.

I'll try get the official Windows XP mag and .net magazine as well. I'm half thinking of geting a copied copy of Visual .net Studio (or even just the C# version) to make life easier.

I suppose you need the SDK as well as the framework file as well. All I want to do really is run them in the browser and just code them in FrontPage XP or Dreamweaver.
