Hey guys. I'm totally a newbie, so please bear with me. I'm switching hosts for my website right now and my WWF 6.28 just doesn't seem to want to work. The problem is probably through setting up the DSN because I hooked up the new 7.7 and it's running great.

So here's my dilemma. I have 2,000+ members and if I can, I'd like to save their information on to 7.7   Now I searched the forum and saw some people mention downloading an upgrade file. Well, I'm new to this forum community and I searched the site and I don't know if I'm just missing it or I'm just as brilliant as a steel pipe, but I can't seem to find the download. Can anyone graciously help out a considerably clueless WWF administrator?  Thank you!

Use the database migration tool found on the same page that you download the forum from.

Thanks borg! I didn't see that before.

It seems to have worked, and I reset the read/write permissions and everything looks great but I get this error when I try to view a user profile:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'

Type mismatch: 'UBound'

/forum/pop_up_profile.asp, line 182

The previous 'ubound' error reports were caused by the deactivation of active users.

See if enabling that fixes the issue

OK. Another question. Does anyone know how to use the database migration file. I have an older forum version 6.2 up and running on my site right now and I have downloaded the new version 7.7. I need step by step instuctions on how to use the migration file. The instructions with it doesn't explain much. Thanks.

The instructions with the migration file are quite specific, just follow them to the letter. Trail and error always seems to work, just make backup copies first.
