I have been looking on how to setup the SMTP on Windows 2003 Server.  Where do I go to read on how to set this up?

How does the SMTP relay to another server to deliver messages?
Does DNS have anything to do w/ the SMTP?  MX?

It would be nice to have a set of instructions... on how to set this cheese up?  My MCSE books doesn't cover setting up the SMTP.
I would imagine it's simple...if you've done it before.

Any help ...or point in the right direction would help.

Thanx in advance..

Vlad

The docs you want are IIS docs.

Mr. Pyers...

Already been there... that couldn't be more obvious.
Apparently you haven't read them...or you would have realized that they too are too vague and don't explain the process.

Delivery fails...got it to work once or twice...then nadda..?

Anyone else have anything better?
