Hi Friends, I want to know, is there any way i can connect to my ftp server while i am behind the fire wall ? i have tried Cute FTP but it gives an error right away with out considering my request ?

is there any way to connect to FTP Sites ??

Please Help... Cuz  I am behind the fire wall

Check your port settings and then reconfigure the firewall to allow either the program or the port.

Ys, no other software can do it.

BTW, you can try using ftp://..... in IE. not sure if it works

Im behind a router and firewall and i use FlashFXP.

Ive never had any problems and ive never had to configure anything for it to work.

Do a search for FlashFXP on google and give it a try.

That won't work because IE will still use port 21 to connect. Firewalls operate at a low level with port requests and intercept everything there before it even gets to the application. That's the entire point to a firewall.
