Hi guys

how do you get the value of a form field to pass to an asp page with an onclick event.

<a href="/options-asp/check_username.asp?username=This is what i need from the form " target=""popUpWin"" onclick="popUpWin(this.href,'console',500,580);return false;" title="Check your username">Click here to check your username</a>

This will open a new window and the old window will not change.

The "href" and the "onclick" don't mesh well. Choose one or the other and work with that. You don't need an anchor if you are using the onclick event. Rework your javascript to incorporate what you need. Pass it through there.
