If borg or anyone could answer, thanks.

What's the "Relationship" diagram for? Is it just for us humans to read and understand more easily? To the system, it doesn't affect one way or the other, correct?

If you mean ERDs; those are entity relationship diagrams. Those are used to illustrate the logical structure of the database. It is kind of the like blue prints for a house. It does not physically affect the system but logically it can produce a poor structured database fill with redundancy and produce wrong data. I myself do not use erd for access databases. I only use ERD for my SQL Server Databases. My access databases are used only as the beginning of a SQL Server Database.

Actually if you are talking about the Diagram in SQL Server it DOES change the database if you save changes. You can create relationships, att columns etc. If you just move the tables around to visualize the structure, Robert is right.
