After some help I´ve converted my forum database to access97 and I´ve changed the LCID regional settings in common.asp (both in main folder and admin folder), but now I get this error message :

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'

Cannot open database ''. It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt.

/forum/common.asp, line 260

Any suggestions to what the problem may be ?

Access 97 was never very good at being a back end database for a web application and often became corrupted.

Also Microsoft no longer support Access 97 with it's MDAC database drivers that web servers use to talk to the database, this is probally the course of the error.

You need to use Access version 2000 or higher in order for the database format to be recognised.

Thanks, that worked - i think. But now I get this message

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'

Type mismatch: 'CDate'

/forum/Default.asp, line 154

Can this be the LCID settings that need to be changed ?

Usally yes.

You need to check what the servers LCID is with your host, if you are using one and one as your host, this is a common problem with them and you nee to set it to German

Hmmm... ok. I´ve tried the German LCID and the Danish LCID neither works.
-It is here in common.asp that it has to changed :

'Set the date time format to your own if you are getting a CDATE error
'Session.LCID = 1031

or is it somewhere else ?

Ok, I found out that I had to change the LCID settings to GB, but thanks for the help.
