Some time when i visit my forum
the forum name and logo changed automatically to

Forum name : SNAKEYnet Forums

Logo : Web wiz logo logo link is > http://www.snakeynet.co.nr - http://www.snakeynet.co.nr

i don` know what is these
i don` know what is this name (Forum Name )!!!!!!!!!!?????????????

when i go to the admin area and in the forum configuration page
all of the Setting are correct and when i click on " Update Forum Configuration"
button and when i return to the main page all thing are OK and Forum logo and forum name
is correct

but when i close my browser and site and reopen the forum site the name and logo changed
some times it`s for Default page only and when i go to one of the forums
it`s OK and all of thing is correct
it worked fine on version 7.1 but this is on ver 7.7

What is the url for your forum supposed to be?

Are you using free hosting?

Have you tried clearing your browser cache?

Same things happened to me on websamba webhost for the first time in 5days

it only changed the logo. i updated forum config and it came back.

Also, to shorten the url, i am using no-ip.com service

yes I did it .

but i use this free host for my Forum ver 7.1

and i don`t have any problem

I see none of you have followed the instructions that I spent along time writing on installing the forum on free hosting accounts:-

Follow those instructions and it will fix the problem.

Pay particular attention to number 4 on the list as you need to turn off application level veriables, as on free hosting accounts these are shared so will effect other users and vise versa on these free accounts.
