Clicking "more..." is a pain. Perhaps a choice of how many to view in the admin panel. Yeah... pretty frivilous, but I find myself just wishing I could see more smilies all the time. The space is there for at least 3~5 more rows.

You can simply edit message_form_inc.asp and RTE_message_form_inc.asp at line:
4 is the number of lines to display. Modify it as you wish.
