I get this on an update script when i submit, the script is based on the guestbook update tutorial one from wwg

ADODB.Recordset error '800a0bcd'

Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record.

/bhhhcdynamic/update_entry.asp, line 24

can anyone thell me the prob and/or what to do about it

it means that there are no records in the database matching the SQL query. you can do a simple thing like:

If rs.bof or rs.eof then

response.write("no records")

else

do stuff

end if

to prevent this error
