Looks like it's trying to email someone about the post, but the email component isn't one that's on the machine.

Either turn off email notification in the admin area, or contact your hosting company to findout if they have any email components installed and the correct settings from them.

You can get a list of supported email components from the email configuration page in the admin area.

is there something i need to add to one of the .asp files or something or is it to do with my ISP provider?

ask your host what email components they have installed, and configure it in the admin  area.. if its a free host, they dont have email..

its not a free host, but i just phoned them and they said all ok from their side of things

i mean if the rest of the files would be ok, why not that one? going home to check it this lunchtime, is there anything i need to specifically look for in the script for that particular asp?

thx for the help guys, i really appreciate it

you dont need to change anything in the files.. just choose one of the components your server has installed..

What you need to do is ask your web hosts what email component they support and any SMTP server details that are required.

Then go to the admin area of the forum and under the email configuratiuon table set it up to use the component that your web host tells you they support and type in any SMTP server details that they give you.

Till you get the correct settings form your web hosts and setup the forum accordingly to your hosts settings you will have problems.
