Hi, I would like to have a welcome section to my forum just above all the main forum content. How would I go about doing this? Something that basically says welcome and you must register to post in these forums. Also what would be a good forum rules page that I could start out with...currrently I have nothing in that regard. I just don't want my board getting out of hand. Thanks, |

look in header.asp - but ir would show up on every page. Many forums have a special section with locked posts for rules, guidelines, and special notices. You can put links to those locked posts anywhere on your site. -------------

This is the only code in the header.asp file <script language="javascript" src="includes/default_javascript.js" type="text/javascript"></script> Where can I add something like.."Welcome! Users can view messages but must register to post. Click here to register". |
