I don�t if it is possible but I am trying to pass an email address from my web host to my local machine (running IIS with a working URL)?

Basically I don�t have emailing facilities with my host so I am trying to pass the email variable from the host to the local machine to send the mail.
The only other thing I thought of was interrogating the database from my local system, but I don�t know if that�s feasible either.

If anyone has any ideas on how to accomplish this I would be very much appreciated.

If you can reference your local machine either through dns, or through a fixed ip, you could specify that as the mail server to your asp scripts. Be forwarned that you;ll be opening up your local machine to being used as a relay for spammers and DOS attacks.

You may want to check out this product http://www.postcastserver.com/ - http://www.postcastserver.com/ - freebie, runs on your local machine, specifically for mailing lists, but I believe you could use it to get individual email addresses from your web host.
