Hi,

I've been using the 6.34 version of the forums until few days ago when I decided to move to 7.7. I used the migration tool and everything went ok but I've noticed that since the migration users can't hide their emails. What I mean to say is that if you choose "hide the email..." while registering or administering your profile it simply doesn't work. The email shows to everybody.

Any suggestions?

With kindest regards,
Goran

If you are logged in using an admin account then you can see all email addresses whether they are hidden or not.

Hi,

Yes I've uploaded all files and I've checked it without the Admin account.

Any other suggestions?

And one more question. How can I change the forum time? My server is in the US and I'm not so I'd like to change the time. In the previous forum I could change the time difference through CP.

With kindest regards,
Goran

Have these users actually selected to hide there email address, check in their profile that these email addresses are hidden.

Hi,

Yes they have. As a matter of fact some users have told me about this. To check it I registered with new user to the forum, chose to hide the email, logged out and saw that the email still shows.

There must be something wrong with your forum as you should not be able to view a users profile unless you are logged into the forum.

Try reuploading the original pop_up_profile.asp file.

When a user has chosen to hide there email address, if the built in email client is not enabled you should see 'private' in the place where there email address is shown in their profile.

Hi,

Did that. Email client is disabled and the emails still shows. It doesn't show "private", it shows the email.
What I meant to say is earlier is that I checked if I could see members email with a regular user and not admin and I could.

Anyway, how can I change the time in the forum? My server is in the US and there's a time difference of 7 hours between my local time and US.
