Always thought that was a nice piece of work. Be a shame to see it go down. Weren't you checking out opening an e-commerce side to the site?

I will take cheque, nochex, paypal, or anything you can think of.

$200 sounds good, let me think about it.  If anyone can go higher post here.

Gullanian, you might want to put your site up for sale on a real market, or even ebay. No offense but $200 is nothing for the work you probably put into it. I have seen sites with less content and traffic go for 10 times as much.

I agree with michael. Try ebay. It's not how much revenue a site generates now that drives price. It's how much potential to generate income that counts.

Well, that shouldn't be an issue..

I've found a sponsor for my site..someone from NZ actually sending me a complete server.

A while ago, I just made a post on my front page telling people c4dportal needed a dedicated server or it would close down in time (since i was using my personal pc and it was spitting out broken parts like crazy).

If people love your site, they are willing to help you out. Just let them know how serious the situation is. Paypall, cafepress for selling t-shirts etc...all are on the list. I imagine a few banners will help out as well.

My Suggestion would be, Dont Sell it rite now, put 100ds of ads there, and you will get the price of ur site every month, i mean if you sell ur site now for 200$, that may not be very helpfull, if you put ads, you can earn more, for example focusIn is also an advertising agency, the pay about $1/Click, no, i am serious, i am not exactly sure how much they pay per click, well, obviously its not the same all the time, but its round about a dollar, an u can ern more from ur site then selling it...

Like, here are some links thay can help you make much money out ov ur site.

http://www.FocusIn.com - www.FocusIn.com
http://www.cj.com - www.cj.com
http://www.marketbanker.com - www.marketbanker.com
http://www.google.com.pk/adsense - www.google.com.pk/adsense (You already know)
http://www.bidclix.net - www.bidclix.net

So what i mean is, give it a try, this might help you more than selling ur whole work....

i agree with neotrix... you could very easily make a lot of money off of advertising off of a popular website, in a relatively short period of time

puting too much advertisingn sucks ..animated banners and advertisement text all around ur site contents just annoys the visitor as well gives a feeling to visitor that ur more for advertising and earning $$ from it then welcoming the visitor

put a notice or something... "Due to the overwhelming costs of maintaining this site, i had had to add a little bit of advertising"

But in most cases, as he briefed us about his site, ur visitors dont even care about banners, we have a music site, Muziq.Net it opens about 3 or 4 Popups on every single page, it has got all the adsense and other banners every where... but as its a cool site, so every one still visits it....

So if its cool, you can do it without writing some notice, if you think its not very very extra ordinary, you can write a notice, or just write something like "To Keep this site Running, Visit Our Sponsers"
