I am letting one of my clients use a rich text editor to edit several web pages on her web site. Something strange happened. She said that she copied some text from a Publisher file to a Word document. Then she pasted it to the rich text editor. It came out to be XML code. I'll give you an example of what it looked like: <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p> How can my client prevent it from becoming XML Code?

I think you're hosed, but just for the heck of it, try copying directly from Publisher into the RTE. MS word also tosses in a bunch of garbage tags. Maybe it's the combination from the two that are throwing rte for a loop. There's a couple of RTE's out there that have an option for cleaning up Word files. Might work for Publishe as well. -------------
