Try adding the file as an include file in the footer.asp file.

If you are not sure how to link to an include file do a search on google there are 1000's of tutorials on this subject.

Ok, thanks boRg. I did. Now it is included. But where to set, where it be displayed? I currently cant test it due to server probs. (Will be ok in 2 hours) So If I included it, now it will be displayed on main page?

It will be where ever you put <!--#include file="defchat.asp"--> I.e. if you put it underneith the forum code it will show up underneith the forum.

...and the most expensive. There are plenty of asp portals and even portals that use wwg. Write a PM to semikolon he has a promising beta running right now.

Its not expensive by any means. It is the only portal that is a final version and not a slow running beta or alpha version.

There are several portals based on ASP. Of course, I'm partial to the ones that use -borg-'s forum.

Since MD doesn't allow a trial version, it's hard to say whether his portal, service, and support are up to par.

With that said, again I'd try the "open source" portals first and see if they fit your needs. Most of the time you will find support is great and the community around these models set them apart from other "proprietary" portals. You won't get slammed or flamed for asking questions even though the application is "free as in beer" and you may or may not help in development.

Take a look at this forum as an example. You are receiving help and advice even though our only "vested interest" is making the community great and not necessarily to sell our own products.
