Is there a way I can control the size of the text box used to type the message in a post or a reply? It seems I'm getting extra characters inserted when people post, making their post have lots of extra space.

Thanks
Tony

Not sure what you mean, what extra characters? also what version are you running? etc. Please read the forum guidelines on posting at:-

i think they mean when sumone presses the space bar to much it puts things like   ; &nbps

"           ;           ;           ;           ;           ;           ;           ;          "

^^ theres an example - hopefully it will show

but when you convert the big spaces to " " it tends to show them, ive noticed it on my site and had a quick look at the post formating include file and i couldnt see anything wrong with it
i might have another look

I'm having a similar problem with mine as well.  I need to set the size of the text box no larger than 575px in order for the page to layout correctly within the website I created.  It's killing my header and footer layout.  Is there a way to set the size?
