	How do I make my forum so it is only for users I allow. My main needs are 1. Only allow certain members (the moderator can decide) 2. Forums are only visible to members. Actually, I know 2, but 1 is what I don't know. How can I set membership so it has to be approved? Sorry if this has been asked already, if so then point me to the thread. Thanks.

	set the forum access to private, then go go member permissions and allow the users you allow to view the forum, give them a member permission to access that forum. there is no built in membership approval in the current version but MOD's have been made within the mod's forum.

	OK, I figured how to make a new user not be able to see any forum topics. But I see a new user can see the more senior member's profile's and emails. I have tried searching for that mod that you suggested, but I cannot find it. Can you point me to the thread? Thanks
