After the registration is completed and the Register button is pressed the page goes to page cannot be displayed.  However, the person actually does get registered.  Because going back to the default page the person who registered is shown as logged in.

There does seem to be some sort of script error on register.asp but I can't find the error.  Any ideas about the solution?

Sounds like a 404 if the user is created... Try reuploading all the files.

I think I may have found the problem. It turns out that sometimes it will go back to the default page and sometimes I get page cannot be displayed.  I thought at first this had something to do with email. I am on Brinkster free account and had to load everything via their control panel (5 files at a time).  Now Brinkster trims their time use back on asp by limiting the Script.ServerTime to under 90 seconds. So I had to re-do the amount of time on those asp pages which were above 90 seconds.  I set everything to 60 seconds so this may be why at times I get a page cannot be displayed notice.  I am not sure of this.

The other issue is that if you open register.asp in Front Page and attempt to Preview it comes up with a script error of :

file://C:\Program Files\microsoft frontpage\temp\pvw1DDA.htm

at line 1220.  I don't have any efficient way of counting lines so I have not checked what is there.

Turn off friendly HTTP error messages in IE to get what the error is.

The code in web wiz forums is not compatible with FrontPage, you should try a use a different editor.

Well I turned off the friendly error and I got

Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'

Server.CreateObject Failed

/coyotetracks/GHM/forum/functions/functions_send_mail.asp, line 155

800401f3

So it is the email..but how do I shut it off?

I looked in Admin. but I do not see anything called CP. What is that? I turned off everything I could find in Email Configuration Setup, but that did no good. What is CP?
