I have upgraded from 7x to 8x.  After upgrading new users no longer can activate and reactivate their accounts.

They receive the activation mail, and it looks like:

http://www.fakeurl.no/forum/activate.asp?ID=42BDB9D9A29C6&USD=453054270

When clicked the user receives an error from the forum, error as described in the languagefile as: strTxtErrorWithActvation

This looks like an issue with language files.

Are you using the original language files, if not then make sure the ones you are using are for the version of wwf you are running.

I have now made a clean install of the forum, but towards the same upgraded database.
 
I use orginal language files, but i still get the error:
 
 
Error
There is a problem activating your membership.

You haven't given the full error message.

Also, accounts can only be activated once
