Hi!

My problem is very strange. On my server, there are two different ways to connect to the forum.

www.mysite.com/forum
or
www.mysite.com/package/forum

Both take to the same package but when a user connects using the first adress, it's username only appears on the Users List of the first adress. If the user connects on the second, his username goes online on the second adress Users list.
This way, I have 2 Active Users List at the same time!!

Please, can someone help me!??

But I don't have two copies!! That's the point!!

The first address (www.mysite.com/forum), takes the user to the second address (www.mysite.com/package/forum), but I don't know why, the Active Users Lists are different.

When they go to www.mysite.com/forum do you redirect them using metatags or dns?

It's sounds like each address is running in it's own application memory pool.

To fix the problem would require that the web server see both locations as the same web site and so share application variables.

I don't know. These are configs of the server. =(
Thanks -borg-!

I'll see with the owners of the server, what they can do for me...

I'll put here the real addresses so you can see what's happening:
www.cinemaemcena.com.br/forum
the other:
www.cinemaemcena.com.br/cinemacena/forum

You'll note that regardless of which link you click, the url in the address bar is the same as the link although both go to the same place. This indicates that you are set up for URL Framing (Framed Redirect - not the same thing as HTML Frames).

With URL Framing, as far as dns and iis are concerned, you are two separate sites - each with it's own app space.

Your alternative is to use URL Forwarding ("normal" redirect). With this set-up, clicking the first link you gave, will display the 2nd link in the address bar. You loose the ability to mask your actual location, but it's all treated as one app space.
