	are you using a hotmail.com address as your forum email address or smtp address? Is the mail component you are using supported by your server? Try changing to CDONTS

	no, i using a smtp adress cdonts didn't work, but i added following insert into the function_send_mail.asp for AspEMail: 'Authentification .Username = "mail-user" .Password = "mail-pw" and now it works - thx 4 help!

	The default value for the field you mention should be 0 so that the field is automactically populated. If it doesn't then it could be that you have changed the database or it is corrupted.
