are you using a hotmail.com address as your forum email address or smtp address?
Is the mail component you are using supported by your server? Try changing to CDONTS

no, i using a smtp adress

cdonts didn't work, but i added following

insert into the function_send_mail.asp for AspEMail:

'Authentification
.Username = "mail-user"
.Password = "mail-pw"

and now it works - thx 4 help!

Dear Support

I dont think you have managed to actually post an answer to the original problem which is that the database (access 2000) is not being updated correctly

 

Please advise of the fix that is required

The default value for the field you mention should be 0 so that the field is automactically populated. If it doesn't then it could be that you have changed the database or it is corrupted.
