I download your software yesterday and am setting up a test forum. I have noticed that some members are allowed to edit the profile of another members.

I have created new groups and the members are in the new group, they are not able to edit any Admin group members but are able to edit anyone in a newly created group or the guest or member users. Any help would be appreciated.

If you have given the group modertor permissions in any forum members of that group can edit others profiles.

Check that you have setup permissions correctly.

Thanks for the quick reply. Those groups do have moderator access to certain forums. Is there a way to change that? My other thought if that is not able to be change is can a member be in multiple groups?

Example:

Category:

Forum1 - Access to group "A" only
moderators - admin, forum A moderators

Forum2 - Acess to group "B" only
moderators - admin

I need to be able to set up certain forums with restricted access. I am doing this through groups. So can user 1 be in group "A" and forum  A moderators? My concern is that they would still have control over peoples profiles.
