HI Guys!  Me again..

Ok.. I promise I have been looking for hours, and couldn't find any info on this.. hope it's not a repeat~

I have a forum, named "Awesome Info".. in it contains different threads/topics that just post info.  They are closed so no replies can be made.  They are just there for newbies to read.

What we want to do is to SUB-TOPIC these, or at least REARRANGE them to be in catagories.

I don't want different forums for say, "exercise advice; food advice; meridia advice; xenical advice; etc.."  but do want these topics to be put into some sort of order that makes since.

I tried to move the topic.. but that will move it to another forum.  I just want to move it withen a forum.. and possibily to a SUB FORUM.

Thanks for any advice/help!

Sub forums are presently not supported.

The topics go in order of date, unless they are a sticky topic, so there is no way to force the order topics are in apart from post them in reverse order to the order you wish them to be displayed.

THANKS!

Ok then.. if I can't move them.. can I get in and change the date posted so they show up in the order I want them in?

Like all the diet meds change the date to Jan 2  and all the exercise ones change to Feb 2  or something like that?

Would that be a db change?  cause I don't have any program to work with the db..

Thanks again!!

You would have to change that directly in the database.

Hi,

I realise topics are arranged in reversed order of the last post date. Is it possible to arrange them in order of the 1st post date (i.e. the date the topic is created) instead?

Thanks in advance,

Agnes

You need to edit the script manually for that.
