can anyone tell me how to get a user to register on a forum but wont be activated until the adminstrator ok's it?

Change the activation email to a static one that is your own so you click the link if you OK it.

michael just told you how to do it... it will notify yourself, not the users. If the situation is that you can't send emails at all then you have a problem unless you know ASP to mod the forum to do that...

yes i cant send email! how ever i figured it out by not using the ladder group and going with the private member permissions!
