boRg, even after your explanation, i will still prefer having batch email feature built in with WWF.
If WWF does not support it, I will request to include this feature in the next version.

Web Wiz Forums supports batch and bulk email sending through the Web Wiz NewsPad module.
If you want to send bulk and batch email you need the add-on module, Web Wiz NewsPad.
Web Wiz Forums and Web Wiz NewsPad are like two peas in the same pod, they both work together to give extra functionality to both programs.

BoRg, I agree with you. They are 2 programs that are made to work together. However, the point stardust was trying to say as I unstood his posts They may work together but to use the admin of the programs you need to login two different locations.
To better the linkage of the bridge of the two programs I suggest that you create a link that lets a admin of a WWF to his/hers WWNP system without relogging in. This could be done in the setup of WWNP by asking if you have WWF if yes then It also looks at the WWF insert check user file in WWNP.
I know some of these items are not part of the WWNP system. I am sure you could build them in.
This is just an idea, I'm not trying to step on any toes

I asked borg the same thing a while back also about using sharing the db for both apps to be able to use the same login... this was his response:
NewsPad can be used as a standalone system, so has a different type of login system to access the Control Area, but you can create the same username and password as you use for the forum, but I would recommend for security that you create a new one. |

I understand its a standalone sytem, however I am refuring to the integration setup of this system. I am saying if you give a place where the admin of the NP system can also input there wwf login sysetm. then when you click on the link from your wwf admin it will recive a request input from this click ie ../../../news/wwfcheck.asp?userid
this would then be check in the np's admin's configeration setup files. once it sees your a wwf admin then it will let you in as the admin.

I agree with you and I also would like to see something like this come to life. I use both extensively and its a pain having to login to both all the time.

Developing a application, in fact any application requires tremendous determination and efforts. I have full respect to that. In spite of this, i do think using two different application to avail similar purpose does not mean usability.
I never support NewsPad integration to email my forum users. Why should I or am I being forced to do that? There should have some option inside the forum so that I can email everyone of them, in fact all of them at once. WWF had this before. It does not really make much sense to me having topic/forum subscriptions in the forum but not the 'member mailer'.
NewsPad is born, in my opinion, as a newsletter manager and WWF is born as a forum. Fro a forum we can run discussions on different threads, track the threads through email subscription. Is it sound good that we need a different software for the subscription? No. Here is my point why I should use different software to communicate with my forum members? But to send newsletters, may be i need a different software. Sometimes, as a forum admin, i might require to send announcements to all my members. There is one and only one way doing this. Having some script in the forum.
I understand having the feature to be implemented in WWF, may be a better email function is required. This better code block has been included with the NewsPad. I request, humbly, if needed, to use such code in the forum.
As I stated earlier, i do respect the efforts behind these applications. What I am saying or suggesting is only a better feature for the WWF. I am not offending anyone's feelings or contributions. I support WWF as it is and when it is better.
