FIrst off a question: How do I tell what version of Web Wiz I am running?

I believe it to be an 8.x version and I am having trouble with the rich text editor...I have not iinstalled the downloadable RTE file from this website. I have not upgraded my forum in quite some time...My IE 7 browser gives me script popups whenever I use any of the RTE buttons...very annoying.

Firefox will not let me add a hyperlink to a picture in the edit box.

I don't remember having these kinds of problems before.

You can have a look in the includes/version_inc.asp file to see what version you are running.

The standalone version of the RTE will not work with Web Wiz Forums as a very heavily customised version is used within the forum.

Changes were made to the RTE in order for it to work with IE 7, so you should look into upgrading.

Thanks for the quick response.

The new version looks soooooo much different than the 8.x version....is there any foreseeable problems when I upgrade my forum. I know that mods tend not to work...but I guess I'm more concerned with keeping the look of my current form because I have some custom graphics that I made for it.
