RTE Difference

7.5 is many, many, years old, and lacked allot of security, as well as new vulnerabilities in new browsers with newer version of CSS, etc. If you still are running 7.5 now you should upgrade ASAP before your entire site is hacked.

In 7.5 very little filtering was done to the post, which was great for things like this, but also means your forum is easy to hack.

Version 9.05 is much more secure, and the filters are very good. Things that are used everyday in forums will not be effected by the security filters, but trying to copy and paste complex tables with lots of styling will have those parts that could contain malicious code removed.
