RTE toolbar background

I have modified the css for the table rows that use the .tableledger style to use a background image instead of just a color.  This has also changed the text editor's toolbar background to use this image and the icons are hard to see now with the my image as the background.  How can I not style the toolbars background, but keep the background as the .tableledger background for the rest of the forum?
