I know there have been a couple of similar questions, but I wanted to be sure. :)  I've got 8.03 and I want to go up to the latest.  If I have a registered copy of the forum running, does the upgrade require me to 're-license' or does the registration info stay in place when I apply the new version?

Also, is there a 'patch list' that says exactly which .asp files and so forth have actually been altered in the new release so I don't overwrite the whole folder unecessarily?  I have manually altered a number of includes and other pages to fit my site's look and function, and I don't want to update and then have to go figure out exactly which parts of the forum code have been changed specifically so I can put my own changes back in.

Thanks!!
Drew

The upgrade doesn't require you to re-license all you need to do between minor versions like this is have a look in the Version History file that comes with the download for the changed files between the two versions and then update those file.

ALWAYS remember to backup your old installation in case there are problems.  Then you can always copy the old files back if there are problems.

Yep - I got that part down!  What I really should have done is made notes about what I've gone in and modified. :P

Thanks!

Yeah, that is useful too.

Now that WWF is more refined, I am finding less and less I need to modify, thank goodness.

I'm mostly waiting for 9.x when some major features for the calendar and image/video gallery.
