Hi

i dont know if this sounds weird but here i go:

I am trying to find/build a search script that search a Netork Drive for documents and XLSs on our intranet. I know, "why not use the file files function in windows?" Well the directory is HUGE. 1000s of files. That is why we need a script to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated

not sure why you think a script would be any faster/better, it would have to go through the same "1000s of files"

well

i am trying to make it simple for the idiots(did i just call MGT an idiot) that want this. They dont want another program, so i thought a script would be simple and everyone in the company could use.
