Just want to ask why there sometimes when I register as a member for certain website, there is a security code display there for me to enter? Why they need to have this security? Thanks.

If you are referring to the Graphical Code that is sometimes displayed for you to enter, it is there to prevent from automated signups that people may attempt with a script or app.

Is there a way to disable the security code that came in version 7.5?

I have used the Forum for a year now and all members are used to not having to enter the securitycode everytime when logging in. I kinda doesent like it either.

If there isn't a way then I will mod the source code, no prob.

If you search the WWF support forum you'll find that on 7.5 there's no way to disable it but the next version will have a bln on common.asp that you can switch to False to disable it.

7.5 is on beta status so you might not want to upgrade your forum yet.

Great, that bln on common.asp would be great on the next version, is there a target date or what version to look for to have it included?
