I'm interested to know if we can easily modify the skin selection so that if a link to a forum comes via a particular route we choose a certain skin?

The idea being mulitple people can link to the forum, and have their own corporate colour scheme as part of a cobrand option. We have developers in house who can handle it, it's more a case of once we change a skin somehow in the forum code, can we stop the user from changing it? (does that make sence?)

The forum is not setup for multiple skins so you would need to implement this from scratch, so if a user can change the skin themseves would be down to how your developers implement multiple skins into the forum.

A simpler solution would be to install multiple copies of the forum in different folders each with a different skin, then have all the forums use the same database so that posts, etc. are shared between the forums.

Borg, there's a mod for that for v7.6 wont that work with the new ver ?

Can you give me a link where i can find out about that? I've seen the forum but I can not see anywhere saying about getting it.
