You have a good basic idea of a site, but the images are cr*ppy. They are all blurry and pixeled out. Try getting some better pic's.

Hmm, they look good on my computer.  And the one other computer I used to look at it.  I will investigate further.  I know the main background image is a little blurry, but I went a little lower res to help the load time.

How big are the pics on your computer?  Do you have any ideas as to why they don't look good?  they are 72 dpi, and not blown up from tiny pics or anything.  they were large scans at high res that I reduced.

I will see what I can figure out...

The main image just looks like its been resized to many times. Its got blured block pixels all over it.

lol.  Not my choice of words.  Glad you mentioned it, though.  Just more evidence that we should rethink that phrase.

<edit>Ok, i changed that.</edit>

Do you think the buttons in the upper right look ok?  Something I took from another site where it fit the look better.  the nice part is no graphics.

The background picture is blurry, but thats good, it won't be to distracting taking visitors focus away from the actual content. I saw leave it.
