Slight Permissions Problem

One of my forums is a Site News forum, in which only me and moderators can post / reply. Everybody else only has permissions to view posts. The problem is that, when in forum view, everybody can see the 'New Topic' button and, when in thread view, everybody can see the 'Post Reply' button. When they click on them, they are naturally given the 'No Permission' error, but why can they see them in the first place?

Becuase thats the way it is written, if you prefer not to have the buttons show then you could mod the forum.

It allows people to have a link to register or login if they are viewing the forum as a guest.
